Hello my name is Abigail I’m from Wallis on the Preseli Mountains.
I am a Beauty and massage Therapist here at Waterwynch spa retreat. I have always wanted to be a beauty therapist so at fourteen I started working in serenity beauty salon.

At sixteen I went to Pembrokeshire College to studied Beauty Therapy. In my first year I was awarded student of the year. In my second year again I was awarded student of the year of which I am very proud.

In the evenings I went to night class to study Aromatherapy and Basic Psychology, at the weekend I worked at Elizabeth Ann Salon practicing beauty and massage treatments. At the end of my college year, I got to Traine at London Beauty School where I specialisied in Body detoxification and Elemis, this is how I landed my job on the 5 star luxury cruise, Holland America were I worked for 3 years, I met amazing people and saw some outstanding places. I worked as therapist for 2 years and and as a receptionist onmy last year after whichI decided to end my time on the ships and spend more time with family.

My partner still works onboard the ship as an engineering officer . I started work at Waterwynch in September 2011 and have loved every minute of the peacefully relaxed atmosphere of the Retreat and have enjoyed every guest that has come to Waterwynch.

I am very much a country girl and in my free time love spending time with my horses, competing in horse shows and taking my dogs for walks across the Moorland where my partner and I have a cottage in Ambleston on the Preselis. Hope to see everyone who also enjoys being in a country. You will always be welcomed with a smile.
